FOIAC is incorporated in the state of New York as an educational non-profit corporation.
FOIAC has recently applied to the IRS for 501(c) 3 status as a tax-exempt charitable/educational organization. (It takes some months to obtain a ruling on tax-exempt status.)
We are having some success with both the current lawsuits against the FBI and the NTSB, but getting good legal representation is expensive and we need as much support as you can manage. In October 2003 the First Circuit Appeals Court overturned the District Court and ruled in favor of Sephton against the FBI. It is now remanded back to the District Court.
